We grew up in the Midwest, built our careers in finance, and came back to build something lasting. Huck Holdings exists to own and grow great Midwestern businesses over the long haul.
We are not a private equity firm, and we are not a fund with a clock running. We partner with founders chasing the next phase of growth, and with owners looking to take a step back or navigate a generational transition. We are here to continue what you built and carry your legacy forward, investing in the communities that shaped us and creating jobs that keep them strong. That is the whole reason Huck exists.

Hard work beats talent every time. People win by showing up every day and doing the small things right, the same way you built your business in the first place.
Community
When a business does well, the people and the town around it should feel it too. We invest where we are from, and we measure success by whether the community is stronger for our being there.
Honesty
It is not what you do, it is how you do it. A handshake still means something to us. We will tell you the truth as we see it, we will be straight about what we can and cannot do, and we will do what we said we would.
Humility
Call it our Midwestern roots, but we stay humble and understated, and we know we do not have all the answers. We are here to be force multipliers for the true leaders of the business.
Our focus
What we look for in a business.
- Profitable businesses with a track record At least five years in operation and roughly $500K to $5M in annual earnings.
- Midwest roots It is where we are from, where our networks run deepest, and where we want to build. We will consider the right business anywhere, but the Midwest is home.
- A path to majority ownership We look to acquire a majority of the business, and we are glad to structure things to fit where you are, whether you are ready for a transition or a founder excited for the next phase of growth.
- A healthy business with good people Steady, with loyal customers, a durable position in its market, and a team worth building around.
